Clipping from a 100 year old rose

This rose was given by a great grandfather on my mom’s side of the family (Christensen) to his wife over 100 years ago. Through the years the rose was clipped and new ones grown and then once again clipped and grown. I took some clippings when I was at the Bateman family reunion this summer at Jan Christensen’s home. One looks pretty good for surviving with new growth. Two others have no growth yet but the stems are green and they are rooting.

On Christensen side of family, mom's family. This was a rose given by a great father to his 100 years ago. This is a clipping I took this year.
